Both U12 boys teams begin with a win!!
Under 12 boys "A" team kicked their season off this morning against Curracloe United at home. Hibs started strong and were 1 up after 2 mins with a great finish from Mathew Edmunds Bergin who slotted the ball into the bottom right corner. Hibs were 2 up a couple of mins later with Noah Power finishing confidently against the on rushing keeper. Curracloe got a goal back against the run of play . U10 boys begin season in style!!
Well done to all the U10 players this morning on two fantastic games. End to end stuff throughout with loads of goal mouth action. Every player was brilliant. Thank you to all the parents for all your support. Thank to Coláiste Naomh Eoin for the sponsorship of the new jerseys. Training continues on Tuesday at 7pm. See you all there!!
U14 boys endure tough start
The boys had a very hard season opener away to bridge rovers in castle bridge. Hibs started very strong and controlled most of the possession . Bridge broke to score the first goal against Hibs keeper Luke McDonough and led 1-0. Hibs created plenty of chances with three shots being cleared off the line , only for bridge to go and double their lead halfway through the second half. Mens "B" strong start continues
Our Mens "B" team made it 3 from 3 with a comfortable 5-0 win home to Carne. Oisin Condron with a double, Liam Condron, Jake Wade and Oisin Willoughby with the goals on the day. Our lads rarely looked troubled and played football far superior to their divisional standing. Stephen Redmond has a nice blend of youth and experience as his charges push for promotion this season.
Mens "A" travel to Rosslare
Our Mens "A" team travelled to a blustery Rosslare in search of another 3 points. Despite missing 5 first team regulars Paul Kirwan still boasted a strong squad of 17. The first half was very even and was no surprise to anyone that the sides went in 0-0. The second half was more open and Rosslare opened the scoring against the run of play. Our lads upped the anti and Matty Kavanagh got a deserved equaliser. With 10 mins to go Rosslare won a free kick, which resulted in them g

Noels U16 girls start strong
Under 16 girls got under way this morning and took on a strong North End squad. 4 goals in the first half for Hibs 2 for Holly Tobin and 1 each for Katelynn Tomkins and Amy Robertson saw Hibs dominate the first half. North End came out fighting and got a goal from Alva Cunningham. Both sides had chances throughout the second half of an end to end game with Hibs holding resolute in defence to win 4:1. A brilliant start for a promising team!
