U12 Boys travel to North End

The boys traveled to Wexford today to take on North End , Both teams started strong with our boys taking the lead through an own goal early in the first half . Chances were few and far between, North End had a chance to equalise late in the half , Hibs keeper Ben Lawlor made a fine finger tip save to push the ball around the post . Second half North End came strong , our boys stood strong and were unlucky to concede an equaliser through a deflected goal. North End buoyed by there goal pushed and eventually went 2-1 up . With the clock running down Hibs kept pushing, With Cian Kavnagh being brought down when through on goal, penalty Hibs. Cian picked himself up and very calmly slotted the ball in the bottom left corner. A draw seemed to be a fair result. This game was tough tackling and bad tempered at times , But our boys carried themselves well and represented there club with good sportsmanship. Notable display from Keane Howick on the day who was equal to every challenge put to him. Our boys remain top of the league and unbeaten this season
