Weekend Results 01/11/2015

Another busy week draws to a close with some excellent results going our way this weekend -

First up was our U11 boys who travelled to Adamstown looking to continue their fine form. Our boys dominated from the first whistle and played some very attractive football as they ran out comfortable 4-0 winners!! Our lads are now second in the table and are progressing brilliantly under Carls guidance.

Our U13 boys made the long journey down to Glynn Barntown on Saturday and the hosts experience showed. Our lads gave their all but struggled to contain the home teams who proved to strong and physical on the day. Glynn winning by 4-1 in the end.

Our U16 Girls made the long journey to Mayglass to take on All Blacks and despite giving it everything left empty handed. Our girls dominaed for periods and with a point a piece looking the likely outcome, a sucker punch in the last minute meant the home team took all 3 points this time.

Our Mens "A" welcomed Curracloe on Sunday looking to keep their good domestic form going. After a cagey start where it was to and fro, our lads got their goal just before half time after some fine work down the right side. The second half was a different affair as our lads tore into Curracloe from the off, netting 5 without reply, Eugene and Colin O'Brien getting 2 each while Ian Travers and Glen Hughes also found the net.

Our Mens "B" finally got back to winning ways as they blew Crossabeg away in the first hour at Ounavarra Park on Sunday. Despite conceding 3 the game was well and truly over before Crossabeg registered their first effort on goal on this one. Hopefully Darren and the guys can kick on from this one.
