U12 Boys Round Up

Our Div 3A boys gave everything on a cold morning in on Ounavarra Park Saturday against Wexford Albion. After a tight first half which seen Hibs 1 down at half time, the boys conceded late goals to add gloss to the score line for Albion. Maximum effort was given by our boys . But unfortunately it was just not our day .. On to our next game!!

Our Div 1A team welcomed St Cormacs. Hibs started the game slow not making there possession count . With Cormacs taking the lead. Hibs went in 1 down at half time . Second half saw Coby Byrne and Leighton Fleming coming on. Still Cormacs found them self’s 1 v 1 with Hibs keeper Ben Lawlor with Ben making save worthy of any highlight reel. From then on a man of the match Display from Coby dragged Hibs back into the game winning and converting a penalty . With tails up Hibs piled the pressure on the ever impressive Mathew E Bergin who ran his heart out put Hibs in the lead. Leighton looked dangerous every time he picked the ball up . And bagged 2 very well taken goals for all his effort. With the clock running down Man of the match Coby Byrne added a 5th goal when he lobbed the Cormacs Keeper. A fine second half display from all our boys seen Hibs take all 3 points.
