U14 boys v Carnew

Our U14 boys took on a strong Carnew side as their pre season continues. Carnew came out of the traps much quicker and ran into a 2 nil lead before our lads got any sort of rythmn going. Our lads slowly came into the game and grabbed a goal back just before half time. However, they shut off after this and Carnew grabbed their third goal straight from the kick off. The second half was all Courtown as we peppered the Carnew goal. A powerful Jude Stafford header brought the margin to the bare minimum. Try as we might we couldnt get the equaliser as luck seemed to be against us, hitting the bar 3 times during the game. A game we probably deserved a result but a good performance nonetheless.
