U14 boys 1st pre - season game

Our very promising U14 boys faced off against a very strong Arklow Town team this morning in conditions ideal for football. The first half was a very even affair with both teams controlling spells. A late first half goal was enough to send Arklow Town in to the break at 1 nil up. Arklow controlled much of the second half but our lads defence was outstanding as they soaked up the pressure. Our lads plugged away for the second period and deservedly got an equaliser through Jude Stafford. 'Keeper Kenny Robertson gets an honourable mention for a couple of outstanding saves during that second period. A big shout out to todays dubutants, Luke McDonagh and U-12 player Noah Power, both gave a great account of themselves
